The BSI‑compliant attack detection system (SzA) provides comprehensive visibility into digital IT and OT infrastructures through continuous, seamless security monitoring. genudetect reveals what is hidden and creates transparency within the network. Through precise detection, intelligent analytics, and efficient workflows, it significantly reduces the workload on IT security teams.
genudetect is a key component for holistically securing digital infrastructures. With this solution—developed in Germany to the highest quality standards—genua supports organizations in implementing complex regulatory requirements, for example, within the framework of the NIS2 Implementation Act (NIS2UmsuCG).
Also Detects Proprietary Industrial Protocols
genudetect is a distributed NDR (Network Detection & Response) system for automated detection of attacks. It consists of the central analysis module genudetect Nexus and distributed genudetect sensors. The system analyzes network data using IDS (Intrusion Detection System) signatures and IoC (Indicator of Compromise) information, processes the results, aggregates them, and makes them available to security analysts for analysis via an optimized interface.
Using Deep Packet Inspection (DPI), genudetect analyzes network traffic down to the application layer. The solution detects more than 4,800 IT and OT protocols, including proprietary industrial protocols. The analysis is completely passive and non-invasive, so it does not affect ongoing network operations. genudetect also supports the forwarding of threat intelligence to SIEM, XDR, ITSM, and SOAR solutions.
Flexible Sensor Platform for Any Infrastructure
genudetect sensors are available as hardware options S, M, and L, as well as a virtualized version, to accommodate different network sizes and deployment scenarios. This enables reliable detection even at high network throughput, tailored to specific needs. They can be seamlessly integrated into existing network architectures—for example, the virtualized sensors into virtual P-A-P firewall structures.
Availability
With a focus on innovation, scalability, and operational efficiency, genua delivers products that meet the growing demands for cyber resilience. genudetect is expected to begin supporting companies in the KRITIS sector, among others, in detecting and defending against cyber threats starting in Q1 2027.
